Fill both, but only remove the radiator cap when the engine has completely cooled off. Obviously have the water pump repaired as soon as possible.
Coolant reservoir, or directly in the radiator. If you are having to add much coolant, you need to find out why. Serious engine damage can occur if it is leaking inside the engine.
Is it leaking from the side by the coolant reservoir?
Things to check: 1. Low Radiator Coolant 2. Bad Radiator Cap (not holding pressure) 3. Leaking Radiator 4. Leaking Coolant Reservoir 5. Loose Belts (for Water Pump) 6. Inoperative Cooling Fan 7. Clogged Radiator (internal) 8. Blocked Radiator (external)
It could be the radiator, the hoses, a leaking coolant tank or the water pump.
depends where it's leaking from...I just changed my radiator and no longer have a coolant leak...had to replace the actual reservoir tank last year...somethings up with Cadillac cooling systems, they need to be upkept like crazy!
If coolant is leaking from a car it means that your radiator has a hole in it. If this is not fixed the car will over heat.
Check radiator hose, leaking water pump, look for hole in radiator, leaking coolant bottle or leaking seals.
Having to add collant & coolant leaking from the hose.
is coolant leaking from engine?or is it leaking from water pump and running down engine and appears to leak from engine
If the hoses are all tight, Then the radiator must be leaking. REPLACE RADIATOR
You may have a bad radiator cap.
could have a crack in it that is leaking under pressure
