Was a wooden horse really built and filled with soldiers ? Until recently the general opinion was a resounding yes. Now the answer would be yes, probably, but some archeologists are having doubts.

It was built in three days under the leadership of Epeios, but it appears all the Greek men from the army that held Troy under siege did their bid to finish it in time.
