Bhindrawale was the Sikh leader in 1984 during the storming of the Sikh holy shrine, the Golden Temple of Amritsar. He was an opponent of the Government of India at the time, as he and other Sikhs felt that Sikhs were being victimised by the majority Hindu rule as many injustices were occurring against Sikhs. Many Sikhs hailed him as a hero for taking up the cause for justice but some portrayed him as a terrorist due to him taking on the the Indian Government head on.

Thousands of Sikhs were being murdered, raped and tortured.
But Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale decided its time to put a stop to this.
All he was doing was helping people..not just of his own religion but the innocent children who were having to see war and blood shed at such a young age.
He asked for a separate nation...because India did and still does not let Sikhs practice their religion freely and peacefully.
If it wasnt for Bhindranwale Sikhism would cease to exist right now...
1984 was a Sikh Holocaust...Indira Gandhi was the Hitler.
India Quickly claimed Bhindranwale as a terrorist when Indira Gandhi is the one who killed so many people. And Westerners now believe Bhindranwale is a terrorist..Sikh youth in Canada,America & England are not allowed to talk about Bhindranwale or put his posters up or else they are labeled as "extremists,terrorists,separatist".
Bhindranwale has some speeches ...See on YouTube. He clearly says that he does not want to harm any innocent people..only the sadist evil people.
The Indian Hindu Government are the terrorists...they attacked a religious shrine for petes sake. The innocent people always get blamed for someone elses doings.
