YES, Elvis was a good kid growing up.
By all accounts (his parents, his friends, his neighbors, his teachers, etc.) Elvis was an honesty, shy, religious, and energetic child who always said "yes sir and yes mam.
Elvis was the second child born on January 8, 1935 and the first child born was Elvis' twin brother, Jesse Garon, who (sadly) was born "stillborn" meaning he was dead.
Elvis grew up very poor and at one point was raised solely by his Mother, Gladys Love (Smith) Presley, as Elvis' Father served time in jail (note: Vernon served his time, repaid the money, and never again had any legal problems).
