-Comedy, such as The Merry Wives of Windsor.
Historical pertains to a recounting (though not always accurate) of a historical Figure.
Tragedies begin in joy and end in sorrow.
Comedies begin in sorrow and end in joy.
"Tragedy" and "Comedy" do not always respectively mean "Sad" and "Happy."
