Ensure the frequency of your remote and system are in sync. There should be some plastic dip switches that will be in a matching up/down configuration. You may wish to consult the manufacturer's web site or the vehicle's owner's manual if you're still having trouble. Check if the contacts are touching the battery. You may need to pull up the contacts a little bit to get more tension. If all above do not work you most likely need a new remote. You can purchase a remote from this link below http://www.carandtruckremotes.com/r400.html Customer Service Please check out our new stores www.CarAndTruckRemotes.comwww.NewKeylessRemotes.com

When Batteries are removed.
The keyless lock might stop working on your Mitsubishi Lancer because the battery is dead or because there is a problem with the wiring. You might also have a problem if the brain or computer of the vehicle is damaged.
Yeah, it does, but mine isn't working and I'm not sure why.
works sometimes, but no all the time
Batteries aren't in properly. Battery contact points dirty. New batteries are faulty.
Dead batteries.
