- You can learn a lot by watching television if you pay attention and not just veg out
- You can see how people communicate and learn how to be polite and social
- You can see other cultures and learn about them
- You can learn other languages
Some cons:
- Most people watch way too much TV and don't exercise their brains and bodies enough
- You can get in the habit of being bored and wanting to be entertained instead of finding something to entertain yourself
- You can waste a lot of time watching TV instead of doing what you need to be doing
