Should you be worried if you have little pin drops of red when you are 6 weeks' pregnant?

I had a miscarriage 1 1/2 years ago and it was simply slight spotting, and there were no cramps involved. A very quiet and painless miscarriage. I am 7 weeks pregnant again and noticed the same spotting as last time, and it freaked me out! I went in today for an emergency ultrasound and everything was fine : ) We saw our little baby and her heartbeat. If there is any sort of spotting I would call the doctor and try my best to get in there to make sure everything is ok. The best thing you can do is just try not to worry so much, stay strong for that baby! I would contact your doctor immediately but I had some light red bleeding today and am six weeks pregnant - I was terrified. I called my hospital - I did IVF with ICSI and they called me in for a scan. I'd already had a scan two days ago which showed a strong heartbeat and a really good embryo. The scan showed the bleeding was about to stop, go brown and everything was fine. I was told just to keep calm and after they've found a heartbeat (strong) there's a 96% chance you'll keep the baby. Apparently it's common to bleed around six weeks and its normally implatation bleeding (if your baby has a heartbeat). Obviously you should still see your doctor immediately incase things aren't OK but it may well be fine. The real problem is if you have heavy red blood - like a normal day of a period and/or clotted red blood but always check it out. Hope it's OK for you.
