It is a sad fact of school life that there is homework. Unfortunately, most people do not really learn in school without it. Your instructor only has a limited amount of time to teach you certain things and some of the concepts aren't really learned until you get the homework done. If you are a student who has already learned math, remember how hard it was to learn the multiplication tables? That was really hard and boring, but now you can use what you learned.
Other things can only be done on your own, like learning to write really well. If you don't practice with homework, then you will never learn to put sentences and thoughts to paper. And once again we're left with homework. While it's a pain, think of it this way...you are learning something that your teacher can't hand to you in the time they have in the classroom. Once you have it, you have it for life. The teacher won't be there forever to make you do stuff, only you. Make good study habits, and it will help you all your life, not just for the homework now.

∙ 10y agoI'll say yes and no because yes for more time to finish it because some homework needs to be finished by the end of the week and then i would say no because they have to sit around it doesn't make them healthy it doesn't get them fresh air it doesn't make them use their imagination (witch kids should always do) so i would mostly say no but only 6% yes
I'm a kid myself. and yes having no homework would be the best thing since chicken wings. I think kids would like homework if there wasnt so much of it. Homework is ok but sometimes its a little toooooooo much!

∙ 10y agoThere is no doubt that students in middle school and high school have days when they have lots of homework, but there are also days when they do not have much homework at all. It usually balances out, so generally students do NOT too much homework.
Though there may be some teachers in grade school that give a heavy load of homework, most teachers do not give too much homework.
