Architect is a protected title by the act of Parliament. Anyone can call themselves teacher, postwoman or firefighter but they will be prosecuted by law if their name is not included in registrar of Architects

Words should be capitalised when they are the first word in a sentence or are a proper noun (a word for a specific place, person or thing.)

Architecture in the middle of a sentence would only be capitalised if it was as part of a proper noun, for example the name of a class to learn the subject - "Architecture 101."
