Yes reform without some kind of government option is very weak. Insurance companies would quickly find their way through loop hole etc. A government option will provide actual competition instead of making faux competition with new guidelines etc.
Also 60% of Americans approve of a Public option.
The Congress should do the will of the people and start over from scratch rather then pushing through ANY bill just to say they did something.
