I believe this phrase refers to a parallel that the New Testament implies regarding our Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ. More than once in the good book , Christ is referred to as the Good Shepard who has come to earth to gather his flock of sheep(i.e. you and me and anyone else who wants to be saved by " The Good Shepard". i.e. Christ") Jesus Christ is the way , the truth, and the light, he who believes in him , lest they die, will live forever and ever. This is Christ's promise to everyone! Listen then if you have ears! (Spiritual ears, given to some, but not all who dwell on earth) Seek with a true heart and soul and it shall be given to you. (Not material things that can impair our spiritual quest to return to the three in one(i.e. God The Father, Jesus Christ, God;s only begotten Son, and The Holy Spirit, the gift God gave us when he took his son back to heaven by way of assention; three beings in one spirit); but rather, answers to questions you ask that are needed to return to the three in one. Jesus Christ is the Shepard and we human beings are the lost sheep. He is the only one who has been granted the power by God to bring us back. I am one of Jesus Christ's humble witnesses. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bring you and the one's you cherish everlasting Peace.
