There are several things that can cause pain below the right rib. In most cases, this might be as a result of inflammation of the organs that are below the right rib like liver, gallbladder and kidney among others.

∙ 13y agoThe ribs have many muscles attached to them called intercostal muscles and perhaps you could have pulled one of those. Or perhaps it's only gas pain. Your gallbladder is also in that area. I suggest you see your physician and see if some tests could be run if you are that uncomfortable. But think on the positive side and think something minor! I'm not a doctor so I would suggest you see yours if it gets worse.
