Remove valve covers. Install some oil splash shields on the rocker arms. With the engine running back off the rocker arm nut until you hear it start clicking. Slowly tighten the nut just until the clicking stops. Now turn 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn. Do that to all 16. That's it. This is provided you are running a hydraulic cam and lifters.
