Old gun catalogs, old Sears & Roebuck catalogs.
Try http://historicalstockinfo.com It lists Sears, Roebuck and Companyd dividends for 1975-2004. Another source requires searching at http://www.prnewswire.com They have press releases on file with declare, record and payable dates. A few can be found by searching at http://findarticles.com Good luck!
The Second Mrs- Roebuck - 1914 was released on: USA: 23 August 1914
Look at the third or fourth page, you should find copyright information indicating when it was published. Small catalogs labelled as 1903 or other old dates found at a yard sale are likely recent reprints.
The Production Budget for 20 Dates was $66,000.
Meriden Firearms was a subsidiary of Sears Roebuck from about 1905-1915. I can't locate a listing for a single shot pistol they made, but other similar guns from that time period list for $100-$200 depending on condition.
The Production Budget for 50 First Dates was $75,000,000.
Snapped - 2004 Rebecca Sears was released on: USA: 2 June 2013
The Remington Model 547 is in production.
MegaStructures - 2004 Sears Tower 1-4 was released on: USA: 2004
There doesn't seem to be a lot written down about Meriden Firearms. It was a subsidiary of Sears Roebuck and only operated from 1905 to 1915, and even those dates seem to be "flexible". The guns they made were almost all sold through Sears' retail stores and catalogs. The best research source would probably be Sears catalogs from that time period. I really doubt if they made anything like a 50 caliber rifle, but I can't say they didn't. A 32 gauge shotgun would also have a bore that is almost exactly a half inch in diameter, but that would have been unusual, too.
