That "heavy period" could have been implantation bleeding if you have tested positive for pregnancy. I would suggest taking another test to confirm.

You had a positive pregnancy test a couple days later had a heavy period?

If you had a positive pregnancy test then had a heavy period a couple days later, you may have had a miscarriage. If this happens, you should consult a doctor.

Heavy period pregnancy test came out positive can you still be pregnant?

The test will show positive until the pregnancy hormones have gone back to normal it can take a few weeks. You have to see a doctor if you suspect miscarriage. There can be remains that have to be removed.

Why would your period be black and stringy?

These are just normal variations of heavy flow. But if you are sexually active, a pregnancy test will be positive for 2 weeks if it was a miscarriage.

You have took a pregnancy test with a faint positive and i was a day late and now i am bleeding?

Are you bleeding like a 'normal' period or spotting, heavy or not? Both of the times that I was pregnant my positive result was quite faint as my hormone levels were still pretty low and the second time that I tested positive I bled heavy a few days later, went into the ER and everything was just fine. I would recommend that you see your doctor if bleeding is heavy and/or persistant (lasts a few days) this could be sign of a miscarriage which is very common in early pregnancy, sometimes women dont' even know that they are pregnant at all and just figure it is a period that has been just alittle late.

What could it be if your period is very little when you normally have heavy periods Could it be pregnancy if so when should you take a pregnancy test?

Many women report a slight bleed when their period is due. It is not unheard of, but is rather uncommon. An "early" pregnancy test from the pharmacy should give you a positive result now (ie when your period is due). But most test need about 7 days more to give a positive result.

I'm in my mid 40s. Can I be pregnant if I had an early light period-normally heavy with lots of clots- I home-tested negative but have lower back pains a bulging tummy and feel nauseous sometimes?

You should retake the test. Sometimes your hormone levels are not high enough to trigger a positive result. Typically the first sign of pregnancy is a missed period.

Is it normal to have a heavy period during pregnancy?

If you have your period during pregnancy can it be an extra heavy flow?

A extra heavy flow during pregnancy is a likely indication of a miscarriage. See your doctor ASAP or go to the ER now.

Could you be pregnant if you have been on the birth control Implanon and have been on your period for a month and half with very light spotting and somewhat heavy bleeding with cramping at times?

Signs of pregnancy on the implant are lack of bleeding and positive pregnancy test. Irregular bleeding on the implant is a side effect, and not a sign of pregnancy.

Can you miss your period a month and then get it and still be pregnant?

Not unless you've had intercourse since your last period. (There is not a time frame provided in the question.) The body produces a hormone during pregnancy that stops ovulation from occurring so you will not have a true period if you are pregnant. Some bleeding during early pregnancy is common, but if it is heavy like a period you should be seen immediately. If you have taken a pregnancy test and it is positive, you will want to see a doctor as soon as possible to discuss your particular condition.
