I had a similar problem with a 93 Caravan LE. There is a push button sensor on the body of the car where the door pushes against to trigger the dome light. Kind of like a refrigerator- open the door, button is released, and the light comes on. While I was driving, especially when turning, the door ajar light would come on, there would be a ding noise, the locks would re-lock. I noticed I could make it happen when I leaned into the door while driving.
The door open sensor and the door were too far apart. I took out the two screws that held the button in and put shimming material behind it. (I just used two layers of electrical tape.) The button was more prominent, so the door kept it closed better. Never had the problem again. Alternatively, you could put a magnet on the door, or glue a tab on it to push against the button harder.
But just to be sure, I'm not sure by your question if this happening when you are driving or if it's just sitting there.

ask this to the dumb mind of the dodge creator.
If there is a single click from the starter area, the starter is bad. If not, it could be an ignition switch.
Turn on your headlights and try to sart the engine. If the lights go out the battery is probably bad. The contacts on the starter solonoid don't cause it to click.
The odometer light will stay on if the headlights are on a 1997 Dodge Status. Be sure to click the lights off even after shutting the vehicle off.
A fast rapid click is an indiction of a weak battery. A single click is an indication of a failed starter.

you click on the lights and they will turn on.
The spare tire should easily fir back under the Dodge Caravan. You will need to winch the holder down and put the spare back on and tighten it up. There are some cases of malfunction with the winch. If this happens, take the vehicle to the dealership and they will put the spare tire back on.
click on the item you want to remove the lights from - it will give you the option of turning off the lights
