www.autonostics.com has a diagonstic testing tool (you can purchase for about $25) which simply plugs into a 16-pin socket typically found under the instrument panel. This tool comes with a book which contains a list of code definitons, although I am not entirely certain whether they are applicable to anything other than the tool it comes with.
