it's an okay lens... depends on your experience as a photographer. It's a good all around "super zoom," but wouldn't be recommended for fast action (highschool to pro level), low light Photography or macro. Basically... good as a walk around lens without the need of ultra wide angles or super telephoto shots..

Which lens is best suited for wildlife photography?

A good lens for wildlife photography would be a 100-400mm lens or a similar lens in the range of F/4 or F/5.6. This lens will allow you to get good close up shots without the lens being too big or expensive. But it all depends on what you are photographing as a 100-400mm wouldn't really be capable of macro shots or really distant photos.

When does a concave lens act as convex lens?

A convex lens acts as concave lens when it is kept in a medium whose optical density is higher than the lens itself. And the vice-verse is also true .i.e, a concave lens can act as convex lens too .

What type of lens is good for low light situations?

Typically a "fast" lens with a maximum aperture of f2.8 or better (1.8). But if you have time for a longer exposure or can accept the grain/noise of higher film speeds, the lens you have can do the job. of course if you want to kibbitz there are the magical and mythical 1.0 lenses too

What allows scientists to study things that may be too large or too small?

What camera accessories are needed for wildlife photography?

The shortest zoom that would be really useful for wildlife photography is a 300 mm, but a good lens to start off with is a 75 to 300 mm zoom, or a 100 to 300 mm zoom. Probably, the best lens to go with would be a 400 mm f5.6 lens for wildlife photography, because more than likely, a 300 will be too short. You should also buy a good, sturdy tripod. Make sure it's not too heavy for you to carry around.

How do you change the lens on sinner firebug sunglasses?

It's kinda hard, but once you get the hang of it... Grip the lens between thumb and fingers, near the nose part. Grip the frame with the other hand on the nose part. Now pull (not too gently!) the lens from the nose to the ear part, and slightly away from the frame. This should work! Good luck

Which is a good wide angle lens for Nikon D40X. I need good picture of our products in Silverware?

The sigma 10-20mm EX DC HSM is a great wideangle lens with the Hyper sonic motor you need for Focusing and metering on the DX format. The Nikon 12-24 AF-s DX is quality too - but MUCH more expensive.

Which one is best contact lens or specs?

Both are good, But I would prefer contact lenses. Contact lenses makes us look good and I wear Colourvue's coloured lenses and those are very attractive and relaxing too.

Why do astonomers use reflecting telescopes mor often than refracting telescopes?

A lens has to be polished on both sides. Also, a mirror can be supported from the bottom, along all of its surface; a lens that is too large will sag. Finally, a lens absorbs part of the light that passes through it. The largest telescope lens has a diameter of about 1.2 meters; it seems unlikely that any larger telescopes using lenses will be built.A lens has to be polished on both sides.
