My mom has a chihuahua that doesn't like so much getting dog food and he goes around the house in looking for dust bunnys he bites on the wooded chair he now likes to use his paws to scratch the wall?

Maybe your dog is depress for some reason. The dog is probably teething. They like to cut there claws sometimes so I would get a scratcher
