1.well, sometimes its the bottom of your iPod.
the bottom of your ipod , where you plug the USB cord should have all of the little bars up. If it doesnt, then that might be your problem.
2. If your ipod is fine then maybe try charging it on a dock or on a USB wall charger. Just try to charge it in different places

∙ 14y agoFirst, try to plug it in to different computers and wall adapters to charge. If this doesn't work, hold the sleep/wake button and the Home button simultaneously for 6 seconds. If it still doesn't turn on, then you need to take it to an Apple Genius. If they can't fix the problem, they'll replace it if you are still under warranty.

∙ 14y agoThe easiest thing to do would be to contact apple and pay for a replacement. However, another option is to replace the battery yourself with the necessary tools and equipment.
