I suggest you consider waxing, laser or IPL.
Any local beauty salon or day spa should provide waxing. Or if you want to spend more money for longer lasting results (and less pain apparently) You can go to certain medically trained people for laser treatment or IPL.
There are some chemical sprays that abort the blooming process to make thinner, not completely gone, but thinner fruit. For info about these things look up chemical thinning. Or the good ol' way... just kill 'em
It doesn't actually grow faster, it just looks thicker. Usually your hair is like thinner at the top, but when you cut off the top, it looks a lot thicker. Hope this helps!

Alot of people who are emo get the shaggy fringe cutting unevenly with a shaving razor! They also layer it making it short and shaggy on top and thinner down so it looks super thick on top.
Waxing actually makes the hair grow back thinner since it's being pulled up by the hair's root. It can appear thicker and darker because all the hair is growing back at the same time. When you shave, hair comes in at different times, making it appear lighter and more sparse.

The only way to permanently remove hair is to undergo laser hair removal. Even if you wax long enough, the hair will not stop growing back. It might take a little bit longer for the hair to grow back but it won't stop hair growth.

Actually its completely opposite. they get thinner. Think of a boa constrictor killing prey. Does it make the prey get wider or more compressed?
Lacquer thinner will remove it, then the stainless should be wiped completely dry of any residue.
