In my opinion, I don't believe so. They are often synthetic and often may be an indication that the food has been processed to the point that nutrients are lacking and must be added back. Cereals are not whole foods and are often high in sugar which may hamper absorption.

No! The best way to get vitamins is to eat a meal. This way you get the vitamins that you need from the foods you are eating, and also the many other nutrients and vitamins that are in that food!
