is there a test to see if yeast is still good
Mix the amount of yeast you are going to use with about a half of a cup of lukewarm (not hot) water, and a couple tsp of sugar. If the yeast is still usable, it will become activated and start to bubble and foam up.
Put a little of the yeast in a glass of warm water. If you see tiny bubbles, the yeast is still good. If not, adding the dead yeast will not make the dough rise.
Probably not. To test it, heat about 1 cup (250 ml) of water to about 115F (40C) and then dissolve about 1 teaspoon (5 gm) white sugar in it. Add about 1 teaspoon of your yeast and let it sit for about five minutes. If its good you should see it foaming away. Do not over heat the water or you WILL kill the yeast and you'll never know if your yeast is good or not.
Never tried it, but, hey, try it and see what happens! The worst that could happen is you have raised, "bready", yeasty buns! They still would be good.
Do a chromatography test.

If still experiencing discharge after a yeast infection was supposed to clear, it's important the individual see a doctor right away!
If it has your money, then it is good. If it is in PMITA prison, it is not.
No because you dissolve the yeast in water.
