Is there a cure for Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome?
no, there is not a cure for WHS. Sadly but there are ways for the child to live a long and happy life. Ask your doctor or the hospital they can give you more info.

Thanks for the feedback!
I'm afraid not, since there is no recorded variability among the severity of the symptoms in the patients who have this disease. The genetic theory lies behind the fact …that its based on a partial chromosomal deletion, and the symptoms do not differ, no matter how much was deleted from the chromosome
I dont know about a cure but the treatment sometimes involves ropinirole (Requip) and pramipexole (Mirapex). Well... are you looking for some medicaments (and let you kill fr…om the side effects ?) or permanentely help ? I'Ve read a book "How I defeatetd the restless legs syndrome" by M. Hubner, since I had the RLS for years. The answer is quiet simple. www.vegamagic.com could probalby help. Regards Paolo Paolo, I have to respond to this answer that you gave to this person who is looking for REAL help. I am very familiar with Mathias Hubner and his ridiculous claims of a cure for RLS. I notice that you do nothing to help answer thyis person's question, just send them to the web site that is trying to sell a "program" and a book that claims to have the cure for rLS, of which there is none. Mr. Hubner and I have had a lot of communication as he was soliciting on the RLS Foundation's Facebook page about his web site and book. Every med that is used for RLS is not going to "kill you" as you state. Of course all meds have some side effects, but the sleep deprivation that RLS causes can be devastating to relationships, jobs, etc. There are also several levels of severity for RLS, so the treatments can go from changing cognitive behavior to yes, DRUGS. Without them many, many people would have a very low quality of life, and for you to insinuate that people who take drugs for RLS are lazy or do not want to work hard to make their RLS better is insulting. I have been moderating RLS support groups since 1998, and I have the largest online group with 1280 members from all over the world. Some members do not have to take drugs, but most of us do. If Mr. HUbner truly wanted to help people with RLS, he would not be selling information and a fraudulent cure for money. He would be helping out fellow RLSer's out of the goodness of his heart, if he had one, and that is doubtful. Like I said he and I have communicated many times back and forth, and his attitude is beyond reprehensible. Do you work for him? YOu must, since you sound like you are selling his web site, or at least pushing his idea that nobody knows what it is, as he will not give any clues as to what his "cure" is unless you hand over your credit card #. Please, people, never hand over your hard earned money for anyone who advertises a cure fro RLS, since there is none; only treatments. There are two kinds of RLS, Primary (inherited) and secondary RLS that can be caused by kidney disease, low Ferritin levels (how your body stores iron), etc. Please do your homework if you have RLS, as we are our own best advocates, and do not pay attention to this scammer or any other scammer. They are all over the internet, just waiting for us to open up our wallets!
Sorry to say, but there is no cure of any kind for Tourette's Syndrome. However, when I have a bout or I get a patient with a tic disorder, I tell them to read a book or do a …puzzle, which disengages the part of the brain which causes the tics, resulting in an almost complete remission of the tics whilst they are performing these actions. Prayer and faith in God. If you believe in Jesus anything is possible.
Not currently. An ICD is the only treatment that has been successful. don't wait if you have it. See your doctor asap
There is no actual cure for CFS, the only thing you can do is manage it. To manage it, you have to learn to rest, eat right, breathe right, get treated for all contributing fa…ctors such as chemical sensitivities, irritable bowel syndrome, get rid of household allergens such as mould, and avoid stress. A prior answer here suggested you not do too much sports. Unless you were an athlete before you got sick with CFS, don't do any sports. Stay as active as you can without tiring yourself - if you tire yourself, you'll pay for it the next day with what we CFS'ers call "Crash and burn". Some people have benefited from antiviral treatments for CFS; others have gotten sicker. Some people have benefited from "Graded Exercise Training" or GET, but mostly people who were not as sick as others, and some people have gotten worse. Do not exercise past the point of comfort! "Cognitive Behavior Training" or CBT also works for some people, especially if you get a trainer who spends time with you and knows what he or she is doing. Mostly CBT is a matter of learning to pace yourself and treat your body in a healthy manner. Many supplements help alleviate the symptoms of CFS, but no one supplement works for everyone. For "brain fog", ginkgo biloba helps many; for energy, L-Carnitine may be helpful; B vitamins are a good idea; a good multi-vitamin with trace minerals will almost certainly be helpful. If your CFS is caught early and you treat it right - REST (and I mean bed rest), eating well, supplements, etc. - you may get rid of it. Over half of the people with CFS never get fully, but can learn (with the help of CBT) to lead a rewarding life anyhow. A prior post here said that "The cure for anything rests in your ability to find out the cause and reverse that." Unfortunately no one knows despite years of study just what causes CFS.
no, as of now there is no cure for TS, but there are medications to help although they are usually reserved for the more severe cases because their side effects may out way th…e actual tourettes itself.
The only sure cure is kidney transplant. But a cure may not be necessary with only modest pharmaceutical treatment. Liddle Syndrome is a permanent genetic condition. In most c…ases, it is inherited from a parent who may be unaffected but is a carrier of the genetic defect. However, a few cases of new missense mutations are reported, and this means the defect originated in the patient, not his/her parents. Successful treatment is reported with certain potassium-sparing diuretics, but some of these drugs (Aldactone for example) are not effective. This is an overlooked possible diagnosis for essential hypertension.
The prognosis is usually best if RLS symptoms are recent and can be traced to another treatable condition that is associated with RLS.
No, there's no cure, but there are treatments to control the symptoms.
