yes. the British claimed that people from Germany went to India and invaded bringing Sanskrit. however this was only to divide the north and south so its easy to exploit and rule. for example, Indian and European horses have different number of ribs and it could even be the other way round but another claim was that they found somewhere in India alot of skeletons in one place so they said they were victims of the invasion but research shows they died at different times. ancient India did trades up to Germany.In Sanskrit "Arya" is used to give respect, not invader or German or something.the sites were left owing to a shifting of the Sarasvati river and a drying out of the region which is a cause quite different than any invasion.
