my 99 s/r was compatible with a jegs high out put alernator kind of pricey but well worth it but hard to fit in with out removing windshied washer resivor
No, the parts on these vehicles are not interchangeable/compatible with each other. You could use Mercury Tracer parts though.

The Mercury Tracer is same model. The Ford Escort and the Ford Tempo are 2 completely different cars. The Ford Tempo's windshield is going to be too big for the Escort, if I'm not mistaken.
The 95 to 98 model Crown Vics transmissions are interchangeable with each other. It is always best to double check with the auto parts store when you order the replacement transmission.
