100:1, that's 1 part 2 stroke oil to 100 parts fuel. Some recommend running it on 50:1 as this is being a bit more cautious, i.e. lowers the risk of it ever seizing.
The only difference I see is the di version includes the ac power adapter.
10 AC
Hi, it depends on the serial number of you engine. the only information i have is for serial numbers above EUROPE:9157229 USA:4709592 spark plug: AC-V40FFK OR CHAMPION L78V Regards john
Indirectly it does. Gasoline powers the engine which powers the AC. Without the engine running the AC doesn't work. Also on many cars the AC will cause the cars gas mileage to be lower if it is running at maximum AC.
An engine usually has a higher idle speed when the ac is running. If the high speed idle does not operate then the ac will cause the engine to stall.
3.5 ac is air cooled (hence ac), except the exhaust outlet is water cooled by the prop forcing water up a tube, (just behind the prop) to cool the exhaust. This works ok whilst running, but obviously, when idling, no prop rotation means no water circulation, hence over heating occurs. To remedy this, just don't idle for too long. I have an overheating problem with mine even when running. Haven't got to the cause of this yet, but am suspecting the water pipe is blocked or cracked. I will investigate in the next couple of weeks when I get back to my workshop. Love the little engine though.
The ac unit is a tax on the engine to run. This is true with all vehicles. Having the ac on will make the engine work harder to run the ac compressor. This makes the engine run hotter.

they do for the ac they only come on when the engine temp is peaked about 210 deg
