No, pay attention to the news, we are at war within Iraq but we are allied with the Iraqi military and Iraqi Govt.

All that's going with Iran is proxy wars, however, the United States is fighting an extension of the Iranian Intelligence Agency called the Al-Kutz Force which is operating in Southern Iraq.

No. Iraq and Iran currently maintain diplomatic relations. Ahmadinejad (President of Iran) has delivered numerous speeches in Baghdad, Iraq praising the new government and Iraqi Democracy and Al-Maliki (Prime Minister of Iraq) has visited Tehran, Iran to express his sympathy with the Iranian Nuclear Project.

It is possible that they may go to war again, but this will not happen in the foreseeable future. Iran and Iraq are currently on good diplomatic terms. Ahmadinejad and Al-Maliki have made state visits to each others' capital cities and Iraq has noted with sympathy the Iranian inability to achieve nuclear power.

Iran and Iraq are not currently at war and in fact are forming a strategic alliance at this point considering the Shiite commonalities.
