There are four basic types of Nerf darts:

Clip System

Whistler

Suction

Tagger

Clip system darts (once called 'streamlined') are made to fit into any ammo clip for nerf blasters (longshot, longstrike, recon, alphatrooper, rayven). They are loaded into a clip or drum, which is inserted into the gun.

A gun that uses a revolver-style or open drum will most likely use Whistler or Tagger darts (tagger darts have velcro for use with Nerf's Dart Tag vests). These include: Barricade, Maverick, Specter, or any of the dart tag line. Tagger/Whistler/Suction are generally interchangeable.

Are Nerf clip system darts the same as streamline darts?

yes

Why does your Nerf maverick out shoot your Nerf longstrike?

They are made, believe it or not, to fire darts at the same speed. The Longstrike doesn't shoot as far because the dart has to travel farther to leave the blaster, which causes unnecessary friction. This is made worse if you attach the barrel.

Do elite darts work with the Nerf stampede?

Yes elite darts are the same shape as steamlines so they will work

Are all Nerf darts the same size?

On the outside they're pretty much the same size; however, what you don't see is that the internal plastic stem on a Streamline (aka a Clip System dart) is longer than it is on an Elite (as well as Suction and Dart Tag darts). That means that the barrel post can't go as far into a Streamline dart's "hole" as it can on the other kinds of darts. In other words, even though they're the same size on the outside as Elite darts, the old Streamline darts will NOT work on most Elite guns (I believe they may work on Elites like the Hailfire, Stryfe and Stockade, which use flywheels to fire the darts, but will not work on the Retaliator, Rampage, Rough Cut, Strongarm, and other guns that rely on air plungers). Elite Darts, on the other hand, *will* work on guns designed for Streamline darts.

Fender off a 1969 valiant will it fit a 1969 dart?

I doubt very much that the fender is the same as the darts.

What does the Stampede rev-12 and the Spartan ncs-12 look like?

They're both the same gun. It has a 18 dart capacity clip, and comes with 3 of those plus a quick reload clip, which holds 6 darts. It has six tactical rails, an attachable bipod, and a shield to block incoming darts. Check out the video on the Nerf website to see it.

Are Nerf Ecs darts the same as cs darts?

ecs stands for extended clip system, cs stand for clip system, so the only differents is the actual clip size

Where can you get a Nerf Scout?

the Nerf Scout comes in a 3 in 1 Nerf gun pack. it's called "Nerf unity pack" or something. you can buy it with 40 bucks at Toys r us. it comes with the Hornet and the Big Bad Titan Hornet- you pump it 20 times and you can shoot 1 dart at a time or all 6 darts. it has the same kind of darts as the nightfinder. the hornet won't shoot nightfinder darts so i recommend wrighting what the bullet goes to. it shoots up to about 70 feet. Big Bad Titan- you pump the end of it 16 times (or until the gauge meter on the left of it points to red) then shoot the trigger farthest away from the missile. It's popular for Nerf movies but it hurts. it shoots up to 60 ft. you can hook them all to together. when you hornet is pumped and hooked onto the titan you can press the trigger closest to the missile to launch a hornet dart. you can mash the button on the side of the hornet to launch all its darts. its popular for having good range, good accuracy, and shooting all its darts at once. (cool, huh? :)..) this pack comes with a missile for the Titan, 6 darts for the hornet and 3 darts for the scout. you can buy the hornet separately from the titan, but if you want to scout you have to buy the unity pack

How good is the Nerf stampede?

The Nerf stampede uses the whistle dart that the longshot and cs-6 uses. The difference is that its clip can hold up to 18 darts while the other guns use only 6. The stampede also shares the same shape as the vulcan and it looks like the actual gun the pikeman. The pikeman used as a bazooka. Accuracy on the stampede is very good and distance is what you expect from a Nerf gun. Overall it is worth the $50.

What is robinhooding in darts?

It's when one dart sticks into the back end of another, for example, you throw a dart into the 20, and another dart flies exactly the same way and sticks into the end of the flight, or sometimes the stem. Thanks, Dylan H M

Is Nerf better than buzzbee?

their about even, the plastic making up the exterior of a Nerf brand blaster is stronger, but the interior plastic inside the deploy, for example will break with the same amount of effort. Nerf's stampede can be countered by the berserker because the berserker shoots further, for example. buzz bee is cheaper and the tek 10 and tek 6 both give a better bang for your buck ratio than the maverick or spectre, while the Tommy 20 is inferior to the stampede, had they improved the range and reliability, however, it would beat the stampede. the big blast defeats the titan like chuck Norris vs. a piece of cardboard because the big blast is faster to fully pump and the missile moves faster than the titan missile, which glides lazily through the air. really it depends whether you want plastic and aesthetics (Nerf) or bang for your buck (buzz bee). i say a tie. P.S one last note, Nerf's refill packs are inferior to buzz bee refills because buzz bee darts are cheaper, head over to toys are us and get an air zone 200 dart refill, the quality of the darts are the same regardless if it is Nerf, buzz bee, or air zone. P.S (again) the air zone 200 dart refills are 30 bucks, Nerf darts for the same amount is at least 8 bucks higher.
