Childish behavior is usually an attempt to avoid responsibility, accountability, and, above all, intimacy. "Abuse" is when the behavior is causing harm to another person, whether it be physical or mental abuse. If this childish behavior is harming someone, then it may be considered abuse. If they are simply being selfish, you may not like it but it probably isn't really harming you.
