Its not fake, we film live on location, and air a couple weeks later. We only change the names of people we repo. Its 100% real. You can visit the shop in Los Angeles.

∙ 9y agoIt is not "Fake" it is a reenactment of what actually happened. So by definition no it is not fake. Some parts may be a bit exaggerated.
The disclaimer at the start of the show CLEARLY states they are re-enactments. A quick side note on that, the show first aired WITHOUT a disclaimer and did not begin to use one till viewers started to question the clearly illegal activities shown( mostly about Matt assaulting people)
As many have stated, many of the activities shown would not only cause them to lose their business license but also would have landed most of them years worth of jail time.

It's mostly actors who apply for these character openings. The show is completely fake and scripted. They tell the actors to act natural and shoot. Also not to burst any bubbles but the TV show "Cheaters" is even more fake. They make no pretending about that. There are various actors who have been on the show that post about their experience.
