It depends where you're from. Gas can be a pain to pay for, but compared to Australia it's a lot cheaper in Anchorage haha.
The Iditarod race begins in Anchorage, Alaska. The race ends in Nome, Alaska. The race takes place in the beginning of March.
I was born in ANCHORAGE! Alaska is extremely cold, even in the South. Women usually prefer WARM tropical temperatures. Alaska is also considered very Isolated from the rest of the worl.
Operation Anchorage is a DLC for the 360 and PC. It lets you go in a war simulator and liberate Anchorage, Alaska from the Chinese. Once you complete it you get a crap load of unique weapons and armor. I bought it off of xbox live marketplace and it is very fun.
No place in Canada has the same longitude that Anchorage has. However, Destruction Bay and Frances Lake in the Yukon Territory, Nahanni Butteand Rat River in the Northwest Territories, Ennadai and Eskimo Point in Nunavut, and Resolution Island in Quebec, have very nearly the same latitude that Anchorage has.

No way! It's too cold! ^^idiot yes there are such as Anchorage, Alaska ^^ You are stupid too. -_- Oh people these days. Alaska is not a city, it is an American State. ^^I was referring to Anchorage the capital of Alaska, otherwise known as Anchorage, Alaska...... You figure people would look up stuff before assuming the above person has no idea what they're talking about.
Alaska is a very huge state and it depends on which part of it you're in. The southern part has temperatures similar to winter in the continental US (20's and 30's). Meanwhile the far north of the state is already at or below 0.
It is not easy even though there is an airport. Doing an Expedia search suggests it is far easier to fly to and from Kenai (ENA) which is very near. Even Alaska Airlines does not have it as a destination. Cruise ships call there on a regular basis but the cruise companies will nearly always transport passengers to Anchorage to get a flight to/from the cruise ship.
Alaska is a very cold place .
I know he was married and divorced from the mother of his 2 sons, Mary Harris. The boys look very much like her. Not sure of the 2nd one, although a daughter was mentioned in his obituary.
Dear, costly, pricey, valuable, extortionate, priceless.
Contrary to myth, Alaska really does have seasons: in fact, summer can be very beautiful and warm; temperatures can reach into the low 80s, and there is sunlight for nearly the entire day and night. (That is why Alaska is sometimes called the land of the midnight sun.) But compared to some states in the "lower 48," summer doesn't last very long-- it is generally about four to five weeks. Soon, after a brief autumn, it is winter. Alaska generally has very cold, long, and snowy winters, with temperatures remaining below zero for weeks at a time. (Note that the farther north you go, the more severe the winter; southern Alaska, in cities like Anchorage, has winters that are similar to Minneapolis or Chicago.) Also, in winter, Alaska only gets about one hour of sunlight, and sometimes there isn't any at all.
