John Casablancas has been in business for many years and do not hide the fact that they are a modeling/acting school or that they charge a lot of money in order for people to take their classes. Anyone who enters into a modeling or acting school does so at their own risk.
It is legitimate, and they want you to be successful so you can make money and they can. They improve your skills beyond anything you could imagine. They have connections to many agencies, directors, producers, etc. If you were with JC and auditioning for a job they would more likely pick you instead of someone they have never heard of. Its not a guarantee that you will be picked over everyone, but it is something that could really help you out.

Nor do they promise or guarantee that anyone who pays for their services/training will become successful. There are also no hidden fees or other costs that they keep from people. Because of those reasons, they do not qualify as a scam. The activities they do are not fraudulent or done to deceive others, nor do they fail to provide people with the services they are paying for.
