i presume you are talking about the rectifier regulator
and the answer is no it would not charge a battery without this if you don't know what the part is i dought you will be able to know what is wrong with your alternator you could have winding problems or brush problems also
there a little box on the back of your alternator called a regulator it needs replacing get it from your local scrappy
you can not
No.
You may be referring to a connector, if so; it is a plug not a box.
it's in the back of the engine below the manifold and under the air box tube.
Yes
ALternator fuses, if equipped may be on the battery post, in a fuse box, or in the wire going from the battery to the alternator.
Look under the back seat. You'll also find the battery there. I believe there's a fuse box under the hood close to the alternator.
The most simple way to bypass immobiliser is to drill out the bolts or do like i did and chisel off the black box on the back of the fuel pump. behind the black box you will find a fuel shut off solenoid ,put a live to the terminal (black and yellow wire that plugged into black box) you have now by passed the immobiliser
you have a black box when you trace the wires back when you get to the box on the left will be four black connectors disconnect them then loop the first two then the second two and disconnect the rest and away you go
if u want to disable it , there is a fuse box in the engine compartment , pull the fuse your abs will be disable, why take it off anyway
REmove Upper rad support and rad fans and air box. Remove bolts from alternator and remove serp belt. REmove alternator though gap left by fans and air box.
