Yes it is. Mexico does not keep a "close eye" like the USA about who enters or exits the country. Especially if you enter the country (Mexico) by bus. Also the US couldn't care less about who goes to Mexico from the US; they only care about who enters back in. And, as far as I know, they do not share information about it.
AnswerAnd I don't think that it would be a problem if you went to Mexico by plane either. Just make sure that you have some Mexican ID, birth certificate, Mexican passport, etc. just in case. As I daid, they do not share information with the USA, as far as I know.Wiki User
