Yes, as long as you use a heat protectant spray it will be fine and using a flat iron will seal in hair colour. Once the hair is freshly dyed, make sure you or your stylist goes over it with a flat iron after it's dried. This helps lock the color into the hair shaft. Remember to use shampoos that are made for coloured hair and after colouring, do not wash your hair for 48 hours otherwise you may risk draining some of the colour. so overall, once you have used heat protectant it will do more good than bad (unless you use heat too often).
