So for the person who wrote above me that's a false statement. A Muslim girl can begin to wear the hijab any age she wants (preferably before she gets her menstruation cycle) I wore mine when I entered kindergarten. Once a girl hits puberty she should be wearing it but most don't follow that. It is haram to see a girls hair or to see a girl with her hijab off. The really young (3-8) can see the girl's hair but once the male hits puberty he may NOT see her hair. Only he brother, father, and uncle can see her hair. Any female can see a girl's hair but males no. My cousins who are older than me may not see my hair once I get puberty it doesn't matter if he's one year or 1/2 a year older than me.

If you are married woman, you can take it off ony at home where nowbody accept of your family can see you If you're not married, you can take it off and all members of your family can see you like that Also Muslims have to wear a hijab because no other man is aloud to see u without a hijab\ if your married that doesnt mean you could take your hijab off its against Islam and only in front of your husband, children, sisters, brothers you cant take it off in front of people (that you can marry)
