The basics of astronomy are not difficult. There are lots of easy things to learn. So it is a subject that you can start to learn quite easy. There are very complicated parts, but it isn't necessary to know all of them to have a reasonable knowledge of astronomy. You can learn the more complicated things later if you have the interest.
If you mean "are there a lot of jobs for astronomers", the answer is no, very definitely not.
If you mean "are there a lot of astronomers competing for the few jobs there are", then yes, very much so.
Astronomy is an exceptionally poor career choice based simply on the "will I be able to get a job and make decent money" criterion. You should really only do it if you love it so much you can't imagine doing anything else.
The upside is that course of study for astronomy involves a lot of physics, and the job prospects are rather better for physicists, since that's a field that has real-world applications outside of academia.
As long as you're OK with math, being an astrophysicist is fun! But there's a LOT of math. Also, from the point of view of being a scientist, an astrophysicist is one of the few disciplines in which you can't do your own experiments; you have to observe stuff happening great distances away and very long ago.
It is but if you study hard you will make it.
Very. Every education through college is necessary. Beyond that, you can either be a successful astronomer or mediocre. To be successful, more schooling is required.
I hope this will help, Senior technical writer, College professor, Planetarium, director, Meteorologist, Research scientist, Climatologist, Aeronautical engineer, and Astronomer.
nope because there aren't many of them
no it is notvery hard to
There are more astronomy teachers than any other kind of astronomers.
Astronomy is a branch of physics. If you want to get a job in the field, you should expect to at minimum have a Bachelor's degree in Physics, and most likely you should either have a Ph.D. or at least be working toward a post-graduate degree.
astonomy actually its astronomy...
Astronomy.
astronomy, astrophysics
It would vary depending on the particular branch of astronomy you choose.
There are more astronomy teachers than any other kind of astronomers.
Astrobiology.
Best Job Is To Work At NASA
Yes. There have been jobs in astronomy for as long as people can remember.
Yes it is hard job
how hard is it for the members of the executive so hard to get a job there
no, it is not hard.
We'll, there's "High Voltage", and "Hard Hat Required", and "Do not look directly into laser with remaining eye" ... Astronomy doesn't have "signs". That nonsense belongs to astrology.
Yes. There aren't that many commercial jobs in the astronomy field, but there are a fair number of scientists at NASA and at universities and colleges who are paid (although not enough) to do astronomy as a full-time job.
No, it was a very hard job.
