Personally, I feel military experience - - based on my own (US Navy - early 1960's)- - is one of the best life preparation courses one could ever take. If you're willing to "get with the program" you'll have an edge on life - and great memories! - that non-military experience people will never have. I believe this country could have avoided a lot of problems my maintaining required military service.
It is usually not a bad idea.
Protecting your country is definitely a good idea. The most common way to protect one's country is to join the military. However, civilians can also protect their country by supporting troops and reporting suspicious activity.
For those that like to be in the military yes.
All branches of the military are good for education, It depends on what you are looking to do,and where you want to go with your life.
plain and simple yes go and do somthing worth while with your life but once you decide to join dont settle for a job you dont want to do choose something that if you get out of the service there is a demand for in the civilian world
yes, go to the military base and then select join military career
There is no reason why they can't join the military
Generally if they can graduate from high school, they can join the military.
No, you can get a good job with that PhD, whereas military might get you killed.
it all depends if you are willing enough to
Presumably because they thought it would be a good idea to join.
A minor can only join the military with the permission of their parents and must be at least 17. An 18 year old can join the military on their own.
