Yes. They are edible, but I'm not sure they taste very well, or have any nutritional value to them. Eating them would be gross and pointless. ---------- I amso confused at which is a dandelion. Is it the yellow flower,or the plant with the long stem with the seeds to blow on to make a wish?? lol. Even on Google pictures... Anyway; Which stem is edible? Can you eat it raw? is it dangerouse in some kind? I am really intrested int his kind of stuff, but my mom NEVER lets me try anything!!! All i can eat so far from my backyard are Indian Strawberries... WHich taste like a watermelon out in the rain for a day..Open. So,please answer this question, and maybe ill get to try one... Ty! they are the same dude they turn into each other

Dandelion leaves are used by some people in salads and the roots can be roast and ground up to produce Dandelion coffee. Dandelion is a natural diuretic and can promote urination so it should not be eaten in large quantities.
