Too much of anything is bad for your health. 1-2 cups of coffee in the morning can be healthy because the antioxidants it contains. Caffeine can improve mood, settle the stomach, alleviate Asthma symptoms, act as a diuretic, help with a headache, stimulate bowel movement, and more. It is bad fort little kidz

I looked at the Coffeemate ingredients list. Partially hydrogenated oil is listed. However, there is no trans fat listing in the percentage of fats listings. I do not buy anything with paritally or fully hydrogenated oils in it. Even if the label says zero grams of trans fat, there could still be less than one gram. By law zero can be listed. Still, less than one gram is too much for me.

I agree with Voice, as I've heard similar things. I think Coffeemate and similar products are pure junk. (One of my husband's food drawbacks is to have a large mug of fat free French vanilla cappuccino mix with fat free French vanilla creamer.) I like black coffee,though occasionally I'll put in some chocolate or vanilla soy milk. I'd rather have a four cup pot of coffee than a can of Coke.

Maybe. While coffee without added sugar or cream/milk has no calories and very little nutrition, it does have caffeine and other elements. Coffee's wake-up qualities and ability to keep the drinker alert are well-known, but recent studies suggest that coffee can actually improve mental acuity over time, and even delay the onset of age-related mental deficiencies such as Alzheimer's. There is also some evidence suggesting that regular coffee drinkers have a reduced risk of Type II Diabetes.

OTOH, the same caffeine that keeps the coffee drinker awake can cause troublesome insomnia, and unhealthy raised blood pressure. Coffee's acidity can upset the stomach. So a number of factors need to be considered before deciding whether that cup of coffee is really good for your particular body.
