The child should receive a good physical by a doctor and put on a more well balanced diet and a proper exercise program. Some family may not have the financial means to provide a complete healthy diet for their children. Obese children can often become depressed because their peers tease them at school. Exercise is the best way to take off the pounds and the child's parents should get involved with the child when exercising and often one or both parents may be obese themselves.

Assuming these are criminal charges, your parents can't 'drop' them because your parents didn't file them (although they may have filed a police report). The state files criminal charges, because it's a crime against the state, so only the state can drop them. And if the state feels they have sufficient evidence for conviction (if they didn't feel that way, they wouldn't have filed charges in the first place), then they will proceed. They don't need anyone's permission or cooperation to do that.

If you mean together in a sexual sense, it is highly illegal and could subject you both to criminal charges.
