How much have you got? Implantation bleeding (though often pinkish or brown) can sometimes be very dark brown or even black. That's due to the time it takes to travel from the implantation site. There's never a LOT of blood or discharge during the implantation, but some women can experience it for a few days. If it goes on for more then a day it just means the gestational sac is taking a bit of time to attach properly. If this is the case, or if you're worried at all, call you GP. You'll need to do a test (urine), a blood test and probably an ultrasound as well.
