Hinge is a joint. It is designed to join two 'arms' together while letting them move freely. A lever is when a pivot, load, effort is present. Although hinge itself is not a lever, but taking our biceps as an example, that would be a Class 3 lever

No, a door is a second class lever because the fulcrum (hinges) are at one end, the resistance (the weight of the door itself) is in the middle, and the effort (the work done on the door--your hand pushes) is at the other end fulcrumeffort = second class lever. fulcrumresistance = third class lever (example is something like a hockey stick where the distance is larger at the resistance end)

Maybe 3rd Class. Because the fulcrum is at the top, the hinge where the swing moves. The load is on the swing. The effort (depends on how you look at it) would be me pushing it from behind, between fulcrum and load.
