Unfortunately, a 143 is a bad score. I got a 147. I applied to about 20 schools and only got accepted to one. The only reason I got accepted there was because my brother had attended. Your best bet would be to put the time and energy into studying for the LSAT and take it again. If you do well enough you might even get a scholarship somewhere. I doubt that any ABA approved school would accept someone with a 143.
Yes it is amazing. The biggest IQ is known to be 200 or something like that.
In fact, only half the population score 100 or higher on standard I.Q. tests, only 16% score as high as 115, and only 3% as high as 130. Only about two people in 1000 score 143 or higher.
A documented score that high will allow the person to join such high I.Q. societies as Mensa.
An average SAT score is 1500. But more important is the way that the SAT breaks down and what the colleges are looking for in those areas. ie., if you have good Mathematics and Writing scores but your Critical Reading is off. A college only interested in Maths and Writing scores may ignore your Critical Reading score or not exclude you because of it.
Someone with a score of 160 or above is a genius.
Probably not. Your GPA had better be pretty spectacular. The average GPA/LSAT combo is 3.4/155. A 143 is substanitally lower than the average of 155.
A LSAT score of 129 will allow you to possibly be admitted into a tier 3 law school. The average LSAT score is 150.
A passing score for the LSAT is anywhere from a 120 to 180. The LSAT is test that one must take in order to go to law school.
LSAT scores are not a matter of public record.
Not really, you need a 179 to get into Harvard. But since you are asking if this is a good score, I assume you havent actually taken the test yet. But good luck with law school.
Both the scores of the LSAT and your academic record go into an acceptance to a law school. The decision on how much the LSAT applies to acceptance depends on the school.

A score of 143 is very, very high.
