To a musician, music would be better ... to one who plays sports, basketball would be be better. It all depends upon which one any individual likes over the other. Both basketball and music are equally liked.

A light game of basketball first before weightlifting would be the conventional order. The game serves as a warm up, hence the emphasis on lght. If you exhaust yourself playing basketball, it would be both counterproductive and dangerous to attempt heavy lifting after-wards.
All I can say about Memphis is, if u visit or move there stay around biele if you're visiting and move close to germantown if you're moving. North Memphis, is like Detroit with a southern accent. Stay away from Hollywood, Douglas, Ridgecrest apartments, and generally all of that. South Memphis isn't much better, especially not Orange Mound, just don't go there. Other than that Memphis is actually pretty nice. Top notch bar-b-que, and great music. Just avoid the stated areas.
In both sports you are trying to score more goals/baskets than the other team. You also have five people out on the rink/court at one time. hockey is way better and basketball is an extremely wimpy sport But what really matters is what you think, if you like baksetball, then basketball is better, if you think hockey is better, then hockey is better.
