He also applies the proper scorn and wrath to those who 'fail' his tests as he sees them as below him and expendable. As opposed to being a certified mental case, he is rather a self-professed Satanist, whose view of the world is derived from his utter cynicism about the nature of man, which he has come to accept, and it is not a very charitable asessment.
