yes it's most definitely the east coast its right on the Atlantic Ocean many people think its the south but it's NOT!! that's disrespecting the South but it is South East (South East meaning its the South of the EAST!!) but Georgia is ultimately the East Coast and all southern states touch the Gulf of Mexico and Georgia does not here's the map mason dixon line has no part of determining the suth and yes Florida is the south

Likewise, the term "West Coast" refers to the states located in the western most region of the U.S. So, while Georgia is part of the Eastern Seaboard, its location makes it a Southern state.
