∙ 12y agoYes, sadly on August 16, 1977 Elvis was found dead at his home in Memphis Tennessee known as "Graceland".
The cause of death, as supported by investigation after his death, was Heart disease/heart attack an illness that also took the life of his beloved Mother (i.e. Gladys Love {Smith} Presley) and several other relatives (of similar ages) on his Mothers side of the family.

Of course I do - I submitted this quesion. It's really a matter of opinion, though, and if you have anything to say on the matter, please leave another answer below (if you still can, on this website - they blocked me twice, although I didn't write anything offensive or incorrect. Actually, all I did was answer three or more questions in a row. People today!). The song is sung by Scouting for Girls. I don't know for sure whether or not they wrote it, but being an English band, I'm guessing that they did. Elvis isn't Dead is, by rule, my favorite song of all time. It's one of those songs that, for me, brings back memories of certain places and times from my past (happyish memories, so don't you worry about me) because that's when I listened to it for the first time. The song is about unrequitted love. The singer says 'Elvis isn't dead and you're coming back to me'. This is clearly meant to be ironic. Elvis IS dead, so she's NOT coming back to him, and he realises this. Coroner Dr. Joseph Davis declared: "There is nothing in any of the data that supports a death from drugs [i.e. drug overdose]. In fact, everything points to a sudden, violent heart attack. However, there is little doubt that polypharmacy/Combined Drug Intoxication caused his premature death."
